This assertion was popularized by C.S. Lewis in his book, Mere Christianity. It claims that Jesus Christ was either a lunatic, a liar or Lord.
The idea likely originated with the mid-nineteenth century Scottish Christian preacher, Rabbi John Duncan, who wrote Christ either deceived mankind by conscious fraud, or He was Himself deluded and self-deceived, or He was Divine. There is no getting out of this trilemma. It is inexorable.
We discuss Jesus Christ in several episodes including:
Episode 5 - The Truth About the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
Episode 15 - The Truth About Prayer
Episode 22 - The Truth About Jesus Christ
